In my post, I meant "British" meaning those accents that are present on Great Britain (the geographic meaning). It was an umbrella term for all the accents I like on that island—from the more general Welsh to the more specific Received Pronunciation (BBC English). Hence, my use of "British accent
s". I didn't mean "British" as the now widespread synonym for "English".
