I agree with you though Stinger, it would be so nice to see more bands like Evanescence (I'm thinking Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation and Nightwish) get more recognition for their unique music which they are very passionate about and take the time to get so perfect. I think 3 years was a good break also, it gives a band enough time to get a slightly different sound going and write about new things. I'm thinking The Open Door will be an absolutely awesome 2nd album, it seems very ethereal so far.
