Standard have signed the big talent Dufour, but it seems with Tchite gone that they have a negative balance. One match, one loss.
Anderlecht's match was an awesome one. After 15 minutes of play, Van Damme (Anderlecht) was sent off with a red card. During the first half, Anderlecht helt on and when the 2nd half started, Anderlecht scored 0-1. With 10 men!
Later on in the match St-Truiden made 1-1 and 2-1 and Anderlecht were almost falling off the bridge. Until a St-Truiden player scored an own goal. Out of the hope that was given back by the opponent, Tchite was able to score twice in the last part of the match and so he's topscorer of Belgium.
With 2 goals!
It was an exciting first weekend, but I already have written Standard off as a title candidate. Club & Anderlecht are very strong and maybe Anderlecht could even produce some good results in Europe.
