Like England and Holland, Brazil haven't played as well as they can, but they've won their first match 1-0. We didn't see too many flashes of brilliance from Brazil tonight. Ronaldinho had a great header saved by Pletikosa from about 8 yards out, Ronaldo had one good shot just over, and Kaka had an early shot which flew just over. The best moment came after 44 minutes when Kaka curled a beautiful shot into the top corner from virtually nothing - which shows exactly what Brazil are capable of no matter how well they are playing.

In the second-half Croatia had quite a few good early chances, with Dida needing to be alert to make some vital saves. Croatia will look back and think that they could have got a draw out of this game, but one brilliant moment from Kaka has seperated the two sides tonight.
