Congrats to Shakira, whose song after listening to 100000 times I still am not tired of. If I remember, this is Shakira's first US number one single? If that's true, congrats! The hip hop tune that everyone's jammin to is "Ridin'" and is rightfully at #2. It's just alright in my opinion. Nelly Furtado is scoring a huge comback with 'Promiscuous' at #3, which I believe was higher than "I'm Like A Bird" ever reached. Fort Minor's song drops to #6, that is a great song. Rihanna scores a double hitter with the infectious "SOS" dropping to #7 and the crap ballad "Unfaithful" rising to #9. And nobody can stop shaking to Sean Paul's "Temperature" at #10. I'm probably the only one but I think "Dani California" is onw of the worst songs the Red Hot Chili Peppers have ever done.

9 James Blunt, Back To Bedlam
10 Shakira, Oral Fixation Vol. 2
11 Rihanna, A Girl Like Me

Dixie Chicks... ROCK ON. 2nd week topping the chart with probably their most critically praised album in a long time. Screw the hicks that hate them. That ever so popular (and tween loved) DCOM High School Musical still hits it off at #2. Phenomenon? Maybe they'll put the next one in the theatres? Carrie Underwood is high again, probably due to late American Idol fever. Angels & Airwaves at #12.. god I hate them. They areb probably the most ego inflated, pretentious band ever. "Our music is amazing" "It's better than anything out there" "The lyrics are god". Give me a break! Their music is so ordinary! And the lyrics so pretentious! I want to smash their music in pieces.

DVD Sales

1 NEW High School Musical: Encore Edition
2 NEW Cheaper By The Dozen 2
3 The Ringer
4 NEW Bloodrayne: Unrated Director's Cut
5 NEW WWE: Wrestlemania 22
6 Big Momma's House 2
7 When A Stranger Calls
8 NEW Transamerica
9 NEW The Boondock Saints: Unrated Special Edition
10 Nanny McPhee (Wide Screen)

The top of the chart is the biggest no-brainer of the year. At #2 comes the sequel to one of the worst movies ever. Transamerica is at #8, which looks worth a rent.
