Well, Mariah doesn't really need a reason to stir up shit. Christina, Madonna, Britney, etc - their careers are based on publicity stunts and such to get attention. The only publicity stunt I ever remember Mariah pulling was during the Charmbracelet era, her record company told her to play on the "woe is me feel sorry for me for my breakdown and Glitter" card - and obviously it didn't work too well.
Christina didn't DENY she said those exact words. You can't take something out of context if it was said the way it was reported - which Christina didn't deny she said. |
