Riapanonias

I read this in a book and I thought it was pretty intresting and gruesome.

The Romanovs were the last monarchy of Russia. The last Czar Nicholas which was the leader of the monarchy was abdicated from power in March 15, 1917 (Ides of March). Well he abdicated him self and his son who Alexis who has hemophilia.

Well Nicholas and his family were placed uner house arrest soon after. Eventually they moved to the town on Ekaterinburg.

Then in July, 1918 the whole family was shot upon orders from Vladimir Lenin (Revolutionist).

The whole family was trying to escape Russia when they got shot on the orders of Lenin. The daughters had sewn their jewelry into their corsets and skirts. As a result, the bullets would not penetrate their clothing and the killers had to bayonet them.

The remains of the bodies were hacked up, doused with acid, thrown down a mine shaft, retrieved, and buried in shallow graves.

I just thought this was crazy what the people of Russia did to them. I mean yeah people starved and all but that doesn't mean you need to kill the kids and stuff. What do you guys think of it.
