I can say to hell with society and they should know better etc, but sadly they won't. Society isn't going to change just so it suits our invididual opinions which are in fact only a few among thousands. So you could choose to stay a rebel forever, or try to blend in just like everybody else is doing.

And if that means giving up the gay parade, so be it. Small price to pay for what you got in return: a normal life. That is my opinion, at least.
