Plastic surgery is not going to totally make a different person. If you have low self esteem before, you'll have low self esteem after. But a LOT of times theres just this ONE Thing a lot of people have that they can't stand, and if they fixed that ONE issue, they would have more confidance, they'd be able to look in the mirror and feel better about themselves. What is wrong with that?
I just wonder what everyone who is against plastic surgery's feelings are on reconstructive plastic surgery. Take a burn victim, should they NOT get plastic surgery because they should be 'happy with how they look". Maybe they shouldn't get skin grafts. It's the same principal wheter anyone wants to admit it or not.
As for not getting plastic surgery cause you'd feel weird if something else was in your body-I hope you never have to get an organ transplant
Yes, people die from plastic surgery. A lot of that number comes from people who go to backwoods doctors that never finished their board exams! People die going to qualified doctors, yes, but people die from crossing the street, and most people that die from plastic surgery probably had an underlying issue that would have killed them anyways....
Bottom line it's a PERSONAL DECISION, and one that noone is right NOR wrong in doing. Noone should look down on someone for getting a few things done. I do think there are people that have an addiction to plastic surgery that can be really unhealthy though. Its like anything else, you get too much it can be a bad thing.
