From my standpoint, we're here to allow our souls to grow by collecting life experience. And what we're supposed to do with that will be revealed in the afterlife (yes, yes -- if such exists you picky bastards ) |
That's an interesting standpoint. I would say though that I think the revealations of what we're supposed to do with our actions are given in The Qur'an, The Bible and The Torah (when the books are presented in their original form. The Qur'an is the only Holy book in the world that exists in it's original form). The purpose of life from an Islamic standpoint is given from the Qur'anic quote I put in my signature. I believe this life is a test and we will be judged based on our intentions in the afterlife. That is also why I believe Allah gave us the Qur'an, The Bible and the Torah. These books, when they were revealed, are the answers to everything we need to know.
