Raikkonen went from 22nd to 3rd position --> 19 places. Four were in front of him, but had to give up the race as well, so HE actually gained 15 places, 2 BP. |
1 car .. not 8, as the rules say.
You could argue, regardless, that Rosberg made up many more places as he was 20th after 3 corners..
Albers was out before the race started, so that would be 16 places if it was just one car that needed to retire.
Theres a reason why this rule makes heads spin!
