In the UK there is dicussion by the government about passing legislation that will ban smoking in all (or nearly all) public places.

As part of a university assignment I am conducting a survery for which I need 30 respondents. I would be EXTREMLY grateful if you could answer the following questions, and prehaps this will spark some kind of debate amongst the members of the board.

Gender: Male

Age: 22

Do you have children? No

Which one of the following describes you? Smoker

For the following statements please state whether you strongly agree, agree, uncertain, disagree or strongly disagree.

Smoking is allowed in places serving food. Disagree

Smoking is allowed in places serving food but only in designated areas. Disagree - Could work, but in general, unless it's outside, an inside smoking area would defeat the point of seclusion.

Smoking is allowed in pubs, bars and nightclubs that do NOT serve food. Strongly Agree

Smoking is allowed in places where children are present. [/b]Disagree[/b]

A smoking ban in public places will effect business. Strongly Agree - They enforced a ban here, and business slid into the ground just by taking smoking out of designated areas in restaurants.

Smoking is a freedom of choice. Agree
