So 2005 is winding down now. All the year's PPVs are over. And here are the two big predictions from the list that ended up coming true.
25: Big Show returns to RAW and chokeslams the entire roster. He stands tall above the ring and says “I’m back and better than ever!”
He started out on a rampage for a couple weeks, then he regained his status as a failure. But then he paired up with Kane and has been unstoppable ever since.
50: JBL loses the WWE Championship….. No hang on. That’s just WAY too far-fetched!
JBL los his title easily to Cena since he had nobody to help him. He stayed in the title hunt for a few more months afterwards with Cena before the lottery draft sent Cena to RAW but brought Batista to Smackdown!. JBL was then killed by Batista as well and now JBL was last seen opening a Smackdown!-only PPV against Matt Hardy.
Meanwhile, as Triple H and JBL have dropped from their positions at the top of the ladder, Cena and Batista have been indirectly one-upping eachother ever since WrestleMania. Who knows when either of them might lose their heavyweight title? |
