THANK YOU! I was wondering if I was the only one sick of seeing Sharmell with Booker...or Sharmell in general. I wanted to stab myself in the ears during the storyline with Kurt wanting to have sex with her. Remember when he busted into the locker room to kick Booker's ass and Sharmell was shreaking like bloody murder? Torturous, I'm telling you.

I've never seen that Brock match, though I wish I could. I've seen almost nothing of Brock's rise to the title, except for some PPV matches. Big bummer. :-\
Yeah, that is too bad. That was a huge summer for Brock. I did a little research on this. Brock ditched Bischoff and signed himself solely to Stephanie McMahon's SmackDown! on July 22, 2002. Three days later on his very first Smackdown!, Brock began a reign of terror by running in on Kurt Angle's match and hitting the F5 on Mark Henry. He made a short threat to Kurt on the mic. Later in the night, he interrupted Hulk's match and gave him an F5 then left with Paul Heyman in Hulk's limo, threatening to beat up the driver if he didn't cooperate.

The following week, both Kurt and Hogan demanded a match against Brock. Stephanie set up a match between Kurt and Hogan to determine who would face Lesnar on the next Smackdown!. Backstage, Brock wished victory to both men separately...and demolished Mark Henry in a match in the mean time. Hogan won the match after Kurt got DQed for using a chair. Brock stepped in and F5ed Hogan again.

The next week, Smackdown! hyped up the match by showing a video package of Hogan's history of defeating monsters, giants, and other big men. Early in the night, Brock went to Hogan's locker room and asked Hogan if he's really up for the challenge. Hogan suggested putting the Summerslam title shot against The Rock on the line. Lesnar agreed without hesitating, which infuriated Heyman. The main event finally arrived. Brock overpowered Hogan, even kicked out of the leg drop, and defeated him by submission with his Brock Lock (a bear hug), causing Hogan to bleed from the mouth.

After the match, Brock cracked Hogan in the head with a chair and busted him open, performing acts of rage that even made Paul Heyman concerned. And the show went off the air with Brock standing over Hogan, wiping his blood on his chest.

And THAT, my friends, is the last time Hogan put anyone over in a match.
