Obviously Adu is the man who gets all the attention. He's 16, plays awesome Football (although we haven't seen it on this WC), earns 400.000 euros at DC United and has a 4-year deal with Nike from which he gets 800.000 euros.
Still, there's also Chad Barrett, a striker as well. But besides that, it's mainly the collective which makes a country play well and advance to several rounds. You can have a big star, or more (Real Madrid), but when it's not a
team you won't come far. Unfortunately the USA weren't as well as Italy last night, I can't give you a good reason why not though. Luck?
