Yeah, however, there's more to it than the new coin. Every single country has to listen to a set of rules and regulations on a continent basis. Everything gets leveled out. Countries that screwed themselves up in the last decade will receive money from other countries and become richer, while countries that worked hard to get where they are have to give everything away now, and all fall into decay.
But that isn't neccessarily what concerns me. What concerns me is how the idea of a United Europe isn't going to work in practice. They talk about countries uniting and standing up together against terrorism for one. But did that ever happen? No way. Countries like Germany and France aren't even keeping to the rules. They keep doing their own thing still, while those dumbasses in my country are about the only ones who follow the rules closely. But since Germany and France are the two biggest and most dominant countries in the EU, a little country such as mine will not stand a chance. We can't tell Germany and France to keep to the rules. Who the hell can? It appears no-one, cause they're still doing their own thing. And so the theory of a united Europe has failed to follow through, and we're in deep shit now, heh. |
