So if you were sentenced to death for a murder you didn't commit...yet a few jury members thought you did...you would willingly sit there and take your punishment and it would be okay because "hey, shit happens"?
I think it would be fine if the US Government had information that a suspected terrorist was on a plane flying over US grounds. But then again, just because a terrorist is on a plane doesn't mean he's going to crash it into us.
