Hmm, it seems BBC failed to mention ALL of the facts here, as usual, more than likely anything to make Americans look bad. Basically, it's not getting a list of all the people on flights. Right now, the system that is in place is when a plane that lands in the U.S. from a foreign country, when someone boards their flight, their name is scanned through the Government's terrorist watch list. NOW, they just want the same thing done for planes going over the U.S. Our government never gets your names. Our government never gets your info UNLESS you match someone on the watch list. So, y'all are overreacting a bit. And if you still find this offensive after I clarified, well, then, too bad I guess. Because it's pointless to be. Just because we're not the only country who gets attacked, doesn't mean we can't have this stuff happen. Our government is looking after us. I guess the other countries don't give a fuck. How should that be OUR fault? |
