I had to read "Twelfth Night" for my English class and was actually able to keep my attention well, but I also had to read the sections two or three times to understand what the characters were saying. I enjoyed Shakespeare's comedies much more due to the situations - it's not the typical humor, but it's better.
My favorite book is, by far, Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. The language is beautiful, the characters are engaging, and the story is compelling. I couldn't have read a better book. |
