But wouldn't it be better for her if they could sort of predict what type of condition she could possibly end up in before going ahead and doing it? What if they put the feeding tube back in and then she doesn't get any better than she is right now? What if she gets a little better but is even MORE unresponsive and "vegetable-like"? In that case, I think it would be better just to let her go rather than keeping her alive and in a worse condition just to appease her family and some of the nation.
