There's this saying in my country. What farmer does not know, farmer will not eat. Most parents don't understand the concept of internet communication, because they don't do it themselves. It's hard to put trust in something that you don't understand.
But the fact of the matter is though, that it is easier to screw someone in person, than it is over the internet. When someone says that internet is dangerous because you can't look at people, remind them that looks are deceiving... heh.
