I see it as being very different. With the War, this country is just going over and blowing people up because our leader is a moron. The people who are dieing over there are, more likely than not, fully functional human beings that shouldn't be killed because of one mans stupidity. In this case, Teri's qualitiy of live is far from what anyone would call "normal" or "good". Imagine seeing a dog or cat run over by a car, not killed, but just badly hurt...as it's hanging there by a thread of life, do you just sit back and make it suffer because to end it's suffering would be taking an innocent life? No, you put the animal out of it's misery. But then in this case the quesiton comes up as to if she's really suffering or not? Some say yes and some say no. How can you make a decision on someones life without knowing for sure?
Again, I can see both sides to this case and I do want to say that I don't think she should be taken off of her feeding tube.
