Group 1
Romania 0-2 Holland

1. Holland - 13.
2. Czech Rep. - 12.
3. Romania - 10.
4. Finland - 9.

Holland and the Czechs have played 5 .. Romania and Finland 6! The top 2 clearly have an advantage atm.

An injury that could potentially keep him out for the rest of the season - not good for Chelsea at all!

Group 2
Denmark 3-0 Kazakhstan
Georgia 1-3 Greece
Turkey 2-0 Albania

They didn't play, but Ukraine (14 points) stay on top! Greece stay in 2nd place, but now they'e just 3 points behind Ukraine. Denmark and Turkey are a further 2 points back. Albania (6 points) and Georgia (5 points) look to be falling out of contention .. but Georgia do have a game in hand over all the teams above them. That game will be against Kazakhstan - an easy 3 points.

Group 4
France 0-0 Switzerland
Israel 1-1 Ireland

France.. a disappointment yet again. At this rate we may not see them qualifying for the WC at all.
Israel are a much improved team - obviously. They're level on points with Ireland and France and haven't even played the Faroe Islands once yet. They are the strongest team in this group atm and deserve to be where they are on merit. If you disrespect them, you deserve to lose to them..

Group 5
Italy 2-0 Scotland

Italy have a commanding lead over Norway and Slovenia, but both have a game in hand. Scotland have scored once in 4 matches and have 2 points. They won't be going to the WC in 2006.

Group 7
Belgium 4-1 Bosnia H

Belgium are off the mark, but they're still 4 points adrift of second place - which is shared by Spain and Lithuania.

Serbia, Spain and Lithuania have conceded just 2 goals between them! They'll be tough teams for Belgium to get a result against.
