I have the organ donor thing checked on my drivers liscense but I don't give blood. My grandma works for the blood center where I live and she scared me at the very early age of 8 by grabbing my arm and going on and on about how I had "such great veins"...it really freaked me out so I won't give blood. Not only that, but I don't like needles. I can get piercings though...which is probably much worse than giving blood, but eh. And, ontop of that, when I was 10 I was in the hospital for 2 weeks after my appendix ruptured and I had needles stuck into me every 4 hours for about 2 weeks straight, plus countless IVs and ughh....makes me sick thinking about it. |
