Her stuff seems to be getting better and better. Mona Lisa sounds really promising and the more I listen the more I love it.
I've been reading a lot of comments in this thread saying how foolish Britney is for not actually taking a break and blah blah. I'm not sure what her status is in the U.S. and in other countries, but in Australia, Britney hasn't been this popular in a long time.
All of a sudden, she's not so much a teenybopper singer which has been a difficult image for her to break away from and I think she's finally really starting to get away from it.
All her singles from ITZ hit number 1 in Australia, MP held strong in the top 10 and her greatest hits album has had really good chart success and is still selling strong.
In my opinion, the only foolish thing for Britney to do would be to take an extended break. She's so hot right now, and now that Do Somethin' just premired on Australian TV I'm sure that will be a hit too.
Mona Lisa is the best idea Britney and the label could have done for her career coz it's keeping Britney's current high selling status alive. Why should she back down when finally she seems like she's enjoying life and she finally has some control over career moves.
I wish Britney all the best with this new project if she decides to go ahead with it and I really think the negative comments in this thread are undeserved.
