Middlesbrough easily had the match won, but simply threw it away in the last 10 minutes.. Being fair Middlesbrough deserved the win, but with their awful defending at the end a big win wouldn't have been fair. Norwich were very determined to get back into the match and certainly had luck to get back to level terms. It's a massive boost for them, especially considering ALL of their relegation rivals won. They were Middlesbrough's points however, until it was thrown away...

Bottom 8:

13. Fulham. 28.
14. Portsmouth. 27.
15. Birmingham. 26.
16. Blackburn. 25.
17. Crystal Palace. 21.
18. Southampton. 18.
19. Norwich. 17.
20. West Brom. 16.

West Brom earned only their 2nd win of the season at home to Manchester City - a team that beat Chelsea 1-0 a few months ago. Norwich have also only won twice, but thanks to their 8 goal thriller, they now have the worst defensive record (46) If you compare the GD's of Crystal Palace (-10) and Southampton (-14), with that of Norwich (-23) and West Brom (-25) .. you can see that the two bottom teams seem more likely to go down. Southampton have a stronger squad, a squad that has more confidence since the new arrivals. Palace are able to win more matches (they've won more than Norwich and West Brom combined). I believe one of these two will stay up .. and maybe even both if another team (most likely Portsmouth) is dragged down into the struggle.
