To tell someone that they can't have a child because they're "too old" is wrong, IMO. And in the grand scheme of things, there aren't a whole lot of women ages 60+ that are going out and having babies; it's rather rare. Yes, there are more health complications and more risks involved, but who is anyone to say that she shouldn't have a child? That's wrong, IMO. Also, there's been studies that link psychological disorders with the age of the dad at the time the child is concieved. It's been found that the older the father is the more likely the child is to develop Schizophrenia (there was another disorder also but I can't remember what it was). So yeah, it's not just the mother that would be at risk or just the mother that would be putting the baby at risk.
