Brescia midfielder Jonathan Bachini has been suspended for nine months following his positive test for cocaine, the Italian league's disciplinary council said Thursday.
The former Udinese, Parma and Juventus player was found to have traces of the recreational drug in a urine sample taken after Brescia's Serie A match at home to Lazio on September 22.
Bachini, who has made three Serie A appearances this season, was banned as a precautionary measure on October 13 and his ban will begin from that date. |
