Not with the ways things are going. Even if a war doesn't destory the world... there's a good chance climate change (which means we would have unbearable temperatures to live with... it can either go too hot, which would mean a huge, long drought and definate global warming, or it can either go too cold, which would mean permanant winters and another definate ice age), acid rain (damanges clean water and food... which means would go hungry to death), human, bacteria, and animal extinction (which would basically mean we would all die), and many other factors
can and probably will destroy the world. The Earth's temperature has risen as much as 1 to 4 degrees, and if it gets any hotter, a ton of species on our planet could go extinct, including humans... and that's, sadly, a proven scientific fact.
Really, either way, the Earth isn't go to last as long as 5 million years as some believe. By then, TRILLIONS of the world's species will be extinct.
