It's an Angler fish. Not sure if that pic is of one, but in the movie, it's an angler fish. They use the "light" on their tail to attract prey. I think they're cool. Although I'd freak out if I saw one underwater. Not that you'd ever be able to...cuz it's so far down...but still. Eek.
That very first one looks like it could take a few fingers off you...
