Cool Tarantino's Bill continues...

I hate when movies get a double dip but heres some news on the future possible extended edition of the Kill Bill DVD release.

Source: USA Today by: Omar Aviles

While we may have to wait a few years for Tarantino's next directorial outing, he recently gave away a few nibblets for us to chew on about his most recent effort KILL BILL. He recently spoke to USA Today at the premiere of HERO, the Asian martial arts epic that most recently topped the box office, that carries the billing "Presented By Quentin Tarantino" and mentioned the possibility of a full length KILL BILL. The solid DVD sales of both volumes of KILL BILL have sparked new interest in a theatrical release of a single full length movie that could be out as early as next year. However, Tarantino is quick to point out that "it's not just like slapping the two together…there are slight changes, and it has an intermission, like a '60s movie". Of course, the full length theatrical release wouldn't be complete without an accompanying DVD, of which he said "it won't make these two (current DVDs) obsolete. We have put everything we could on volumes 1 and 2, but I have all this cool stuff we have from over the course of a year and a half making (the films)". Sounds fanf**kingtastic to me. Tarantino will next be on acting duties on the Larry Bishop directed HELL RIDE and the ABC special THE MUPPETS' WIZARD OF OZ and hopefully at some point he'll get behind the camera and start one of the many projects he's been rumored to be circling.
