People can be Christian and still do "bad" things. I was taught that a Christian was someone who believed in God. That's it. I wasn't taught that a Chrsitian had to act and behave a certain way. You don't have to be in a cult to kill someone. You don't have to be in a cult to do something bad. Look at the Priests who molested children...they weren't in any sort of weird religion, they were Catholic, and very devout Catholics at that. Hell, they were priests!
