I finally saw it. I have to agree with most of you. I felt like WOW and jipped at the same time. More jipped. I think this film ranks equal with Unbreakable, which isnt saying much.

Spoiler!
I LOVED THE TWIST ON HOW THE ELDERS KILLED THEIR LOVED ONES. But once they opened the box, without even taking anything out, i guessed it. I think that was best concept in the movie that they were running away. What really made me amd was all the plot gaps and holes that still remained. What good was it concealing the date from the townspeople? I wanted to know mopre about Noah. At the end, did they all stand up in agreement to tell the secret or to conceal it? Sure, i'm all for ambiguous endings, but this is too much. My closing scene wouldve been all the village going into the woods.

The twist about the creature suit, i saw from a mile away. Even before seeing the movie months in advance i was theorizing this exact same thing. which made me mad. I mean it was a great concept, marvelous, but he could of gone much more with this. Also, it was obvous about the creature suit when we first see it. It had the exact same stature as a man.

Can anyone answer this question. I must've been tuning out. But what happened to Lucius's father? how did he become dead? sometiems i couldnt understand it.

I thought the acting was terrific and i have a new crush on Bryce Dallas. She has so many new opportunities now. I hope she gets to eb as big or bigger than even her father!

My wish was that a major twist would include Noah. but that didnt happen. It was aad when he died though. Did Ivy know it was him. Did she see his color when he awoke for a moment then fade away. AND I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT LUCIUS'S COLOR WAS!

Grade: 6/10

It's gonna be number 1 this weekend, and i wont be surprised if it drops quite some next weekend due to word of mouth. the audience around me didnt seem that pleased either. They couldve gone so much better with the concept and script that they had. The Sxth Sense still remains M. Night's best film. With Signs after that. I liked how Signs played out. Caus it wasnt really a twist, but a coming together of everything. Although that alien wasnt as great looking as I expected. I wish M. Night would stop relying so much in his storys on big twists now that the audience is smart enough.
