I am looking forward to the outcome of that! I am glad to see Tyrone Howe back.

The Ireland selectors have called Ulster winger Tyrone Howe into the team for the second Test against South Africa on Saturday in Cape Town.

With Gordon D'Arcy injured, Shane Horgan moves to inside centre, with Brian O'Driscoll taking over the number 13 slot. Howe then takes over at left wing with Geordan Murphy moving to the right.

"The centre partnership is one that works at (European) Cup level for Leinster and Shane has played there before," said coach Eddie O'Sullivan, referring to Horgan and O'Driscoll. "It's not the same dynamic as if Gordon was there or if Kevin Maggs was there -- it's something in between. "We are just looking to see how it works."

O'Sullivan left the rest of the team unchanged, giving his players an opportunity to make amends for last weekend's flat performance. "There's a lot of dented pride in that Irish pack in particular," said O'Sullivan.

Full back Girvan Dempsey, first capped as a replacement against Georgia in 1998, will win his 50th cap, bringing him to within four of the all-time Irish record for a full back, held by Tom Kiernan, who made his 54 appearances between 1960 and 1973.
