I have to talk about this:::::

The race is on for the first glimpse of Bill Clinton's memoirs - his autobiography is titled MY LIFE, and is set for release on June 22.
Clinton has said the memoirs are broken into two parts — one ranging from his childhood to his election as president in 1992, and the second covering the White House years — the last term of which was dominated by the sex scandal involving the president and White House intern Monica Lewinsky and impeachment. Clinton, only the second president to face an impeachment trial in Congress, was acquitted by the Senate.

Copies of My Life, which is setting pre-order records on Amazon.com online booksellers, is set for publication next Tuesday, but avid readers will know plenty beforehand of what is inside the 957-page book for which Clinton was reportedly paid a $10 million advance.

Starting at midday Friday, Time Warner's AOL.com will offer audio excerpts of the book read by Clinton, and Infinity Broadcasting will air excerpts on the radio. AOL expects "tens of millions" of people to listen to the excerpts or a question-and-answer session with Clinton next week.

Come Monday, bookstores in Washington and New York are considering staying open until after midnight for the first official sales of the $35 book.

Clinton will appear in bookstores in New York on Tuesday to autograph copies of the book. Once it is released, Clinton is set to appear in interviews with Oprah Winfrey, NBC's Today show and ABC's Good Morning America. Next Thursday, for anyone still curious, Clinton will answer questions in a Town Hall format broadcast online by AOL online and by Infinity on radio.

Similar hoopla surrounded the release of former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton's hugely successful book Living History, published by Simon & Schuster last year. The Democratic senator from New York appeared at many book signings and television interviews.

On Amazon.com, the former president's book is setting a record for the most pre-orders in the autobiography and memoir category, according to a spokeswoman who would not disclose actual figures but said it was outpacing pre-orders of his wife's book by 7-to-1.

The latest book in the Harry Potter series holds the overall Amazon record, selling 1.3 million advance copies last year, she said.

I cannot wait for this to be released, i am currently reading Hilary's Living History - which is brilliant, and i have already pre-ordered a copy of My Life

anyone else excited about it -- or gonna read it????
