And presuming I would ever become one of the Muslim religion, I would not be killed. Here in America, we have the freedom to whatever religion we decide. We can create our own for all the gov't knows. It wouldn't be a true religion because I don't have the smarts to come up with a religion on my own. I'm...I'm...just being honest.

Do you believe that man's story was a turn directed by God or just by coincidence. I believe there are no coincidences, and since Islam is not a religion based on Christ, I see it as the devil holding him hostage because the devil will provide 'facts' for people to believe. He will do anything to deceive any person. That is the reason for Satan, the cause of all deception. I pray to God that I am not being deceived as I believe wholeheartedly in the power of God and the mercy He gives.

I am thankful every day for my life, and I can thank God personally. I don't have to get down in some certain way to pray, or in some direction. I can stand up and pray, I can sit down and pray, I can lay down and pray. My God is a personal God and He knows my thoughts, He knows my desires. And when I ask Him to take my desires away, He pulls through. He just wants to hear my voice, above all others - He wants to know that I am faithful to what I believe in, instead of denying Him. He knows exactly what I'm about to say before I say it, heck, He knew ten years ago...it's the fact that I said it out loud for Him to hear that makes Him smile. That lets Him know that I am His child, and He is my Most Gracious Heavenly Father. He is my life.

The Qur'an wasn't written under the inspiration from God, but actually God's words. Sure. I honestly do not believe that. God wants to embrace, though He has humbled Himself enough by coming down to earth to teach us through His Son the teachings and the ways of God Himself, He will not sit down and write out the rules. That is what inspiration is from. The prophets wouldn't have to lie, there would be no need to. They wrote from experience, with Jesus, the Messiah. (Who can set all of us free but we just won't let Him unlock us. He's the Key, we're locked. Only one way out.) They saw Him do wonders and miracles, they even saw Him heal. It will take Him coming back to prove that He is real and I doubt He'll be as lenient as He could be.

Christianity isn't a religion to me, it's the way I live my life. Trying my hardest to be like Christ which is impossible because I am not God, but the effort and the point is that I try to be as godly as I can through my life, how I act, how I treat people. Though, I shouldn't share what is holy (which will make it unholy), I will never be knowledgable enough for you to understand God's way. God wants you to be personal with Him. God is and very well could be some giant tyrant that strikes you dead, but we all have free will. And I believe free will only holds us back.

I don't ask priests or high beings for my forgiveness, I ask Jesus the Son of God to forgive me. There's a similarity between the religion of Islam and Christianity. I go to a non-denominational church and all we do is listen to the pastor/preacher speak straight from the Bible. Scripture, scripture, scripture. And the most awesome worship you could possibly experience. You can feel God's presence when you are worshipping Him. He's not just there, but embracing. It's out of this world, and being filled with His spirit is the best feeling I've ever had. Better than getting high, better than getting drunk. Better than all of the sensations in the world. The uncontrollable joy and happiness you feel makes you want to be like that forever. God is amazing and I wish people would open their eyes to His awesomeness, instead of focusing on how 'perfect' they have to be to come to Him. You don't have to be perfect. You tie the shoelaces once you put the shoe on. Jesus is the sole. You walk on Him, but He remains with you. He takes your wear and tear and doesn't ask you to stop being so rough. You don't notice that you hurt yourself each time you do something bad/wrong. You know it's wrong because it's in your heart that it is. You still walk on, though. Once Jesus lives in you, you will want to change for the better into a whole 'nother person. It's not that you're "giving the bad stuff up," it's what you are getting in return. For free!!! You will want to get rid of what is bad to draw closer to God, through Jesus. God is too great to get to without Jesus giving you the latter to climb. Don't turn your back on God, turn your back on the things that break your own heart in the long run. Do things for the benefit of others and for you, within reason (like cheating could be seen as helping another person, but it's pretty much wrong because it does not honor nor respect your own self).

And I'm off, I hope someone reads this.
Sorry i couldn't reply earlier, i dont have internet for the time being at home.

Back to the subject...um....logically, isn't it against every religion to convert? I dont believe in coincidences either, i believe every situation has a lesson to learn and there are reasons why situations happen. I can say the same about satan, i mean, every religion that believes in satan most likely believes that he's there to decieve and send you towards the wrong path. I can say the same about your religion, i can never imagine myself praying to Christ. I'm so glad to be a Muslim because Islam is one of the only religions that worships the creator. When i look out that at all of those religions, people mostly worship the creations. Either way you look at is, Jesus (p.b.u.h) is a creation, not god, he is human and is a creation. Islam is the only religion that worships the creator, from what i see. Everytime i see some sermon on TV, it says "Jesus (p.b.u.h) Is Lord", and that's why i say Christians worship the creation. Which to me, personally, has no logic to it at all. If i did so believe that savior died for my sins, it just doesn't sound right to me. That would make life pointless, meaning that you could do as you please and have everything forgiven. I dont see the point in it. Islam tries to teach us to control our desires. We believe this life is a test and we will be judged by out intentions when we die, that makes much more logic to me. And I am happy to say that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. One out of every five people is Muslim (by statistics so far), even with all the lies and corruption the media teaches people everywhere. That tells people right there that there is way more to Islam than what the media makes of us. Islam is the religion of peace. The name itself literally means submission to the will of God. So, if a religion is based on submissing oneself for god, how can satan have a hand in it?

I love the way you worded the third paragraph because that's exactly what Muslims are taught to believe as well. With the exception that we're his children and he is our father. Our relationship is Creation to Creator, and that does not, in any way, signify that Allah does not love us wholeheartedly for Allah is the merciful and beneficient.

How can you sit there and say that the Qur'an is not god's words. Surely, i would be much more fulfilled following a book that is written by God, than following a book that is written under the inspiration of God. Ofcourse God is humble and graceful and everything in between. Allah taught us the way of life by bringing down the Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h). That's how he brought down his message and that's how he showed us what our life should be like. The Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) was the single most perfect Muslim ever created and is an idol for every muslim out there. But, when The Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) came down, he told us not to pray to him, he told us always to worship Allah, only Allah and no other, the one and only creator. Allah is one and shares no partners. Allah gave us the rules and made it easier for us. Usually, when we are given a test in school, the study guide is given before hand. Rather, Allah gives us the study guide (The Qur'an) during the test, how much easier and clearer can he make it for us? Yes, we also believe the miracles of the Prophet Jesus (p.b.u.h) and we also do believe that he will come back. Ofcourse there would be no need for the Prophets to lie, only bad can come from it. But other humans, rather, have altered the Bible and gave it to us and told us it is the true form. Again, that is the reason Muslims do not believe in the Bible. We do believe in the Gospels, The Torah and the Psalms. But we believe that they have been altered from their original scripture and that's why we only follow the last Holy Book given to us, The Qur'an.

Why ask the son of god to forgive you? Why not ask God himself? We dont want the love of The Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) (comparing Jesus (p.b.u.h) from a Christian point of view to Mohammad (p.b.u.h)). Islam teaches us to build Gods love in our hearts, and once we have that, we have truly succeeded. Those who wish to be guided, will be guided.
