I disagree. Mel did not try to make Jewish people look bad. Everything featured in the movie actually happened (with the exception of maybe the parts of the movie with the Mary/jesus flashbacks) So how are they trying to make them look bad over something that actually happened??
Its in the Bible anyways, and its no secret that Jews are God's "chosen people", according to the Bible. The reason only Jews crucified him, is because Jesus happened to be in a Jewish country, where most of the population were Jews.
I quess the Bible is anti-Jews also, since they say in there that Jews crucified him.
