If you want to relive the comotion, register at WWE Shopzone and buy the Monday Night Wars DVD. I bet you'll love it.

I thought your post would've been a lot better had you mentioned some of the advantages WWE has/had over the WCW shows. I'm sure you must agree that there are some.

Anyway, the big difference between WWE and WCW is that WWE has always been more focused on the entertainment aspect. The only problem there is that it sometimes makes the in-ring action look faulty.

And WWE is also advertised as the #1 company with the best competition (the highest level). So it wouldn't be right to have every successful WCW star just walk in and be able to tear apart the WWE the way he did the WCW. Goldberg may have been able to pop up from suplexes from middleweight wrestlers and maybe even the heavyweights in WCW. But WWE is advertised to have the most skilled and dangerous competitors in the world, so of course Goldberg would have more problems on his hands.

Success in WWE is also based on your work ethics. WCW was a poorly run company with tons of backstage politics. In WWE, you have to be a hard worker and be able to work well with everyone. That's when you gain your success. For instance, Goldberg is not a reasonable worker. As a business man, he is bad. He can get away with trying to take advantage of people in the WCW, but not in the WWE.

I don't know if Steiner is being held back or what. But I think his lack of success may be attributed to health issues. Maybe he isn't 100%, I don't know. But he is S-L-O-W in the ring.

Booker is much more serious now than he was when he was introduced during the Invasion. If you're looking for the old WCW Booker T, this is probably him right now (except for using the Spin-A-Roonie at the wrong time).

Kevin Nash is just injury prone and past his prime. It's not his fault. He just doesn't have the health to wrestle anymore. It's nobody's fault, really.

And as for announcers, WWE announcers know the names of moves too (well, except for Coach). A missile dropkick is a dropkick from the top rope. At least they described it correctly. A superplex is a suplex from the top rope. They call and describe the action very well, and that's all that can be asked. Actually, I never liked how WCW announcers acted like even the notion of beating someone up after a match was the end of the world and got completely out of breath from screaming their lungs out because of it. But again, I guess it's just a difference in how each product was marketed.
